A search for decorative art on the internet made me realize how broke I was...everything I liked cost $300.00 plus, so I decieded to try some myself. I am in NO way considering myself an artist, but I love to scribble and play.You have to double click on the photo to make it blow up to full size, and then it (hopefully) does not look as dizzy LOL

GEOMETRIC BOUNCE OUT
When you can't afford what you'd like to have
When your budget's meager, sad and drab
And your wall is glowing with new paint
But you know complete, is what it ain't
So you search for art on the internet
But what you like, you cannot get
So with crafter's paint, and some poster board
And masking tape, your colors roar
Soooo
I took a frame from a girl with ducks
Removed the canvas, bubbye to to clucks(yes I know ducks quack, but this rhymed)
Framed my design, now its on the wall
A geometric bounce of squares and balls
... do you take commissions? Words and art?! Think you'd be on to a winner here, Darlin.... $300? Worth every penny... or dime! Ahhhhh, but the feel-good factor is worth twice as much, right? :)) Puts me in a very happy mood... that adds another $100.... I'd better go before I'm broke... Love it! You clever thang xx

I love it! Anita, you are so witty! As for the art, you sure can play well;-) I thought I was the only one that did what you did. I painted a pick of blue and white tulips to match a chair;-) Evreyone loves it;-) hahaha
Excellant write and a great idea, for I guess I never did understand how people could throw paint and draw squares, circles, zig ans zags then call it art and ask fo $1000 but I am but a poet who seldoms gets paid for my work. LOL
