I know I’m another amid a large mob
Yet, I come before you in search of a job
My qualifications may be less than par
But, I hope you’ll see them for the skills they are
If your staff will teach me the knowledge I need
I will be wholeheartedly grateful, indeed
I promise I’ll work with the utmost esteem
If I am welcomed as a part of your team.

I am always focused on the task at hand
I never miss deadlines; my goals are well-planned
I know, with some guidance, at the very start
I’ll quickly be able to offer my part
I work well with others; I’m able to lead
If this is important for you to succeed
I can present speeches; I’m well read and versed
I feel that the company’s interests come first.

I am far from perfect, I’ll say that upfront
If perfection is sought, then I’m not who you want
But, if you need someone with ideas in mind
Then, I may be the one you had hoped to find
If I’m not the one, good luck as you proceed
I thank you for the time you’ve taken to read
This resume, found in a paper-filled mob
Of applicants who are searching for a job.
