You may still have tears to cry
While your soul learns how to fly
Yet, I know you’ll always try
Even if sadness dwells

As your hopes and dreams unfold
Let the wisdom you behold
Lead your precious heart of gold
Toward what the future tells

I know you will find your way
You’ll never be led astray
Even if a somber day
Comes quickly into view

You are someone, sweet and wise
Confidence rests in your eyes
I know, you will always rise
Because your heart is true
