A ladybug has touched my hand
A tear has touched my heart
A footprint has been etched in sand
And played a lasting part
In every dream I’ve ever known
Yet, never thought I’d live
Because of you, my strength has shown
Thanks for the love you give.
An ocean wave has rolled to shore
A rainbow has impressed
Destiny has knocked on my door
And left me ever blessed
I never thought I’d see the day
I’d share a love so real
I need you, each and every way
A soul could ever feel.
A sunrise has brought clouds of red
A dove has brought much peace
A clearing on the road ahead
Has brought needed release
Each moment our two lives have seen
Proves that my heart can fly
Over the highest evergreen
With your smile standing by.
