This day, with friends and family near
Your lives have joined as one
The love within your hearts as clear
As summer’s morning sun
As cherished as a river’s flow
And sprawling willows wide
Your faithfulness shall serve to grow
Much stronger with each tide
From this day onward, you will share
So many wondrous things
Companionship, beyond compare
And the joy a green life brings
By giving back to Mother Earth
