I walked among the clouds that night
Adrift in wild wonder
A light ahead had caught my eye
I wondered what could be
I strolled, surrounded by the stars
Passed by the crows and herons
As the bright beam of light drew near
My heart began to pound
I'd dreamed of such, a thousand times
A day of wild wonder
Where stars shone brightly 'cross the sky
And moonglow streamed like tears
Yet, never in my grandest dreams
Had such beauty been present
That figment from my yesterdays
Returned within my view
Across the azure hints of hope
The wild wonder neared
I smiled and hedged, as I drew close
Unsure of what I'd find
But, when I reached the beam of light
My heart was whole once more
When Mother came and took my hand
And led me to her Home
