I think about you in my dreams and while I’m wide awake
My smile is cracking at the seams with every step I take
I know that all things happen for a reason tried and true
And for whatever reason, I am glad I’m here with you
I want you to be happy every moment of your day
I cannot wait to hear from you and all you have to say
You’ve brought a sense of meaning and of sweet and utter calm
To a heart long lost and broken, searching for its healing balm
Some things are unexpected and alas that makes life grand
The unexpected moments sometimes nicer than those planned
In all of life that matters and for all in life that’s true
I am grateful for the moments that I'm now sharing with you
