Persephone
Daughter of the Moon
On waters.

Aphrodite's chariot
Moon mare,
Terra Firma

Demeter,
Faster than we dream
Sea Spring Autumn,

Monster Poseidon
Tripod born son.
Rape her name, her shrines.

All the Lilies in the Valley,
Death opens, a mother forlorn.
Mare tamer-Ygysdyril

Aroynt thee witch, aroynt thee
He met the Night Mare & her Nine Fold*
Ond gard her swar by midder-micht.

*King Lear act iii scene iv.
