Poem Artwork
A poem is a vision
obtained in acute
moment of perception,
as intricate split
second inevitable.

Subject, poet,
poem indistinguishable,
in a faint echo
more than a dream,
to say what it's seen
from where it's been.

On the remnants
of this mysterious way
he stands, as the village
lay waste to his track,
& harrows hell to get back.

*After Sion ap Brydydd (d.1360)

A riveting commentary not only on the nature of literary creativity but the lives that produce the same.

i like how you created a poem by describing how you designed it ...

With only arrows with curare poison and instinct for survival, the aborigine is on the enlightened path and the dirt clods of the village stay idiots until the aborigine comes back with Dreamtime wisdom. Unlike the village of unappreciation to where the aborigine has been, I am appreciative of this poem. Of course, it is only my vision. Mysterious poem and I wonder where it's been, Robin?
