If we were to follow the judgements
Of the predetermined mind,
Who would be left alone
And without a sagely curator?
Not only would it be so with those
Who know the sequences
Of wisdom and feelings, and make
Their own selection among them,
But it would be so as well
With the stupid and unthinking men.
As for the latter, who have not such
A determined mind, to have their negations
And affirmations is like the case described
In "setting off the destination today
To have arrived there yesterday."
It would be making what was not a fact
To be a fact. But even the sage kings of old
And spirit-like creatures could not have known
How to do this and how could someone like me
Be able to do such overturning; isn't it a puzzle?
