It's only the unwise man
Who is able to enjoy himself
At full blast; he never deflects
From his pursuit of sufficiency
As though a dog after its bone.
He accommodates himself
To the other men and never
Lose himself for one reason:
There is no place
Where he could lose his way.
He does not learn any lessons--
He only takes the ideas of others
Into his consideration;
He does not discard them
As different from his own.
In the sense, he is a genius,
The man of a great method.
