Circles, You Send Me In

A poem about the cirles of self reflection.

Circles, you send me in trying to find you,
you who never changes ...
running from the part of you that never dies,
the part of you that never tries ...
perhaps, the part of you that will surely die
if you don't.

Circles, you send me in trying to find you,
you who may have never existed,
you who perhaps never will
be anything other than the
whispered dream you've always been.

Circles, you send me in trying to figure out why,
circles as dark and endless as a night sky,
circles you send me in trying to figure out why,
why I'm still going in circles ....
