I stand to support the rights of the queer. In a world of deceit, hatred and strife, Love anyway be welcome. I wish to support the rights of the LGBT community which stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual persons. This is a monologue on behalf of them.

Poem Artwork

The famous  Michelangelo's sculpture of King David

The masterpiece, most beautiful sculpture in the history of art was created by a man of a man.

This true love I fear is not queer

Let me be if not in your heart but near

Let my love blossom  however

 Decide for me whatever

May be I care differently

That does not make me  different

All I want is to be is left in peace

Not be blamed on how I love

Love cannot be forced

Not be captured

Its paths are strange and secretive

It brews up when least expected

Love can be most elusive

Is love that makes the world go around?

Who can ever define love?

Love can happen between two rarest of beings

Like the stories we hear around

For Love is God

Then why  am I made a target

When you call it stupid love!

O why can’t you   but understand

In this world let me be

It is my right, but still I ask

For you O! you alone have an issue straight

When I wish to deviate from the line you made

Very creative and a thoroughly modern topic! I have struggled with my thoughts on the matter. While I admire beautiful men and creative men, I am turned off by overly effeminate men. And, I would hate to be loved by one for the emotions it would cause in both of us.

Although I had never encountered one before, for the last few years of my employment I was assigned an assistant who had several problems socially. He spoke with a stutter, was quite excitable at times over matters that were not exciting, tended to be a loner, and rode bicycle like a professional bicycle racer. While I had problems with him focusing on the work that needed to be done, sometimes he would latch onto a task and make it his own.

He and I were both cut from our employment. It was no problem for me, because I had already requested retirement. Shortly after he left, I received an email stating that he had changed his name from masculine to feminine. I never saw that side of him although many others where I worked were questioning. Unfortunately, he/she remains unemployed. A sad state of affairs that you have pointed out eloquently in your poem.

Yes, it is not our right to judge each other. The Golden Rule is a far better guide. Well said, JKR.
