This is about a person who I am beginning to have some sort of relationship with... I know what I feel, but am afraid to be open about it. This is about all of the fears of my life rearing their ugly head at a joyous time in my life.
Does He know?

You challenge all of my internal voices;

You are a balm to me, a grace;

I should understand, but I don't

That's ok; for this day you give me what I need

I should be able to do that, but I can't.

You call me when I am afraid.

Even though I cannot tell you.

Whatever that is that is between us,

I hope that is is as good for you

As it is to me

So for today, and yesterday, and the day before;

Thank you, I could not ask for more.
