Woke up this morning
looked at the clock
seven a.m., getting on up
sun in my window
shining too bright
ain't in no mood
to deal with life

Feeling all empty
no fuel in my tank
two bucks a gallon
I'm ready to fight

No money in the bank
phone off the hook
words in my head
stuck like super glue

Woke up this morning
got back in the bed
seven p.m., night life is dead
stars in the sky
shining too bright
gonna close my eyes
can't deal with this life

Feeling all empty
No money in the bank
Wake up tomorrow
Do it over again...

I think most of us feel this way every day. Hope it gets better. Good one, Z.

I pay, therefore I work,
Till I die,
Is any of it worth,
Does it make any sense,
Oh look I just found 5 cents, I am rich!

Thoughtful write today, ~Z~, Peace, Ed & rufuz

"The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer..."

I admire your courage to "wake up tomorrow, and do it all over again."
Too many would choose the easy way out.
I wish you happier days!

Zenith, you are in the same boat as many, many of us. Maybe it never get any better? I hope it does for you. Bill Murray

I really like this one. It has flow to it, very good. And very easy to relate to. xx

It's about how middling we are and middle means middle only like a big middle and class isn't school and outing's not a trip.
