Lost in lonely deep despair A woman scorned, her soul is bare. She contemplates each phase of life So many days were filled with strife. Prayers and pleas fell on deaf ears Silence answered...through swollen lips. Invisible Angels watched her plight She felt their presence, she sought their light. Scars of wisdom serve to remind Years of burdens pass through time. Rebirth in faith you will survive Pacts with evil, you'll surely die.

Z, very powerful stuff. No one should have to endure this sort of pain. Any man who beats a woman is a girl in my eyes. Rebirth can only come after accepting that that part of the past is dead. Great poetry Z.

Pacts with evil are so much more fun though...LOL!
