At night while most
                     are oblivious to the world
                 I toss and turn than limp trying
                           not to be heard

                       I tinker with everything
                          and nothing at all
                      I inhale the bright stars
                     gently exhaling my woes

                        Aches and pains 
                  become my companions
                     Clinging to my body
                   giant amazon leeches

          Accompanied like a presidential host
                 I dislike arthritis and migraine
                                the most

                   During the day while most
                          are busy as bees
                  My kidneys, asthma and anxiety
                                entertain me

                       Depression lurks behind
                            every closed door
                             My life...My life...
                               never a bore

                         Grass makes me itch
                            sun burns my skin
                            this is the life circle
                                I strive to win

                      I guess this is why I must
                            build mental walls
                            for so many times
                            I stumble and fall

                            If I allowed myself
                            to feel all that pain
                        A sanitarium would gladly
                            commit me insane

                         Instead I'll look normal
                     trying bravely to get through
                       with pain pills and valium
                          numbing painful cues   

                              Oh me!  Oh my!
                           ouch and grrrrrrrrrrr
                               I'll try to sleep
                        for tomorrow will come...
