Tiny Trinkets

In my subconscious...
sand particles, filter through...
the hourglass of time...
memories, kaleidoscope...
I grasp, tiny trinkets...
happy times, good feelings...
that have survived...
life's catastrophic storms...
reaffirming my appreciation...
for the life, I have been granted...
I pray that I never forget...
these tiny trinkets..
gifts from God...

I like this very much. I like my trinkets too. They show up in my short stories all the time, and every day I feel more and more appreciation for my life. Thank you for this poem, and for reminding me of those prescious trinkets.
