Hush...Listen To Your Soul...

We can avoid many of life's pitfalls by just being still and listening to our inner voice...

                             Hush...be still...let quiet seep,
                             into your pores, your soul,
                            quiet shall seek...

                            Your minds aware of all,
                             that's near, in tune with
                             nature, time to hear...

                             In these times of haste
                             mixed with greed, gentle
                             reminders we must heed...

                             Prepare each day for a
                             new page is penned,
                             of deeds and hope...

                             Sauteed together...
                              Love and despair...

                             In these times,
                             we share our space...
                             with those who abhor,
                             a kind word or embrace...

                             Shunning kind folk,
                              like lepered whores...
                              gladly they welcome...
                              Satan's spores...

                               Hush...be still...let quiet seep...
into your soul, so you can see...
                               glimpses into every soul...

As they walk or slither your way...
be sure you know the intentions,
they wish for you this day...

YOU ARE excellent in every way! There is ALWAYS evil trying to slither in at. If we listen, indeed we will hear what we need. My favorite:

"Shunning kind folk like lepered whores, gladly they welcome Satan's spores" ---

THESE descriptions are STUNNING! Like a reader could ACTUALLY SEE the virus infecting the pure.

VERY outstanding!

Thank You,
Teresa

The incongruousness of danger added a menace in an otherwise gentle piece, Zenith, amazing opposites that creat and even greater unsettling of the mind... :)
