It is best in the walk of life to live righteously.

The walk

In this walk of life there is such a task

On which so many must embark

The few who don't and think they won't

Are often deluded with a jolt

So many start and seem to bolt

In regions where many live in doubt

The walk of life goes on in spite

Of those who take it very light

For those whose feet are not prepared

They will not know just what they're spared

The would be prickles to the feet

Were hindered by the Saviour's treat

The road He walked to Calvary

Was really meant for you and me

And looking far beyond death's vale

He took the stand where man would fail

So then the walk is on this road

If on His ship you will get on board

Don't mind how others do their walk

For on His ship you must embark

Trials on your path you'll meet

Are always testing to your feet

But in the word Paul recommend

No feet prepared will pain in the end

So on the walk of life you must

And in the Saviour you must trust

However rough the road may seem

Your soul your Saviour will redeem

Feel free to rest when it is dusk

You will never fall off as a husk

The walk of life may not be nice

For those who are not willing to pay the price

If on your path now there is strife

Look forward to a better life

So walk your walk with little talk

And on His ship you will embark.
