Integrity combined with uprightness

Is as signpost of a life of righteousness

It causes man to look inside

And get rid of destructive pride

Integrity will make you hide

From those indulging in sin’s tide

Since in His presence you desire to abide

And must from sin your soul disguise

Integrity’s time clock you must punch

As secured in His presence you will eat lunch

Your food to taste seasoned by His grace

By knowing His ways you will secure your place

A heart with integrity will not bow

To those who for the truth will not vow

But will fight for the right from dawn to night

Not fearing his plight knowing with Christ it’s alright

So don’t allow your integrity to fall in the dust

Confront what you fear and in Him you must trust

The end you know is near so give Him your care

And be prepared to share with Him eternity there.
