The art of waiting
browsing recipes, selecting herbs, preparing the meat, calculating calories, Watching the pot, counting minutes, stirring ingredients, tasting, critiquing, tweaking, until the feast.. listing necessities, packing the suitcase, designing itinerary until the trip the waiting is pleasant, I'm not weary, I can last... anticipation speeds the process... studying the text composing an essay researching sifting being sifted until the test did I pass? waiting for the call looking at the sky listening for the trumpet sound until the moment You come in the door. You will find everything ready, all prepared, especially my heart, for Your return.
