breaking surface

“This is not some superficial
love story…” – Joseph* ~ OneLight*® in “until the pastel dawn”

the night suddenly acquired the consistency of skin
and we clustered, like fragments of some celestial
body, beneath its surface;

then words, like hands, and hands, like breath,
rose and fell, musically, perhaps following some
ubiquitous score of blood;

and the surface became, as the unfathomable
must, transparent; fluid, even, and vulnerable
to the moon, both above and reflected within -
as tides are.

that would be why we naturally crested,
then flooded; and why we were alternately
disseminated, aggregated, diluted, condensed,
veiled and bare;

yes, like some celestial body; unalterably
alterable, in its wholeness made of particles,
each one the evolving, embryonic, and yet
complete substantiation of the former and
of the next;

yes, like skin that suddenly acquires the intrinsic
consistency of this love; and breaks us, as one -
into dawn.

I'm awed into breathlessness, Alexandra. This is STUNNING... my absolute favourite out of all your tremendous body of work. The sinuous movement of the breath, the skin, the cresting... the many tumbling waters of the oceans of love are rocking here and my earth quakes... Totally breathtaking. TY Kate xx

This is intense and truly interesting. The skin and its comparison is fascinating here just as skin is anywhere, anytime. I like fragments clustering. Thanks for sharing a top one.

Smoothly impeccable and exquisitely romantic. Usual for you, unusual for most. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Indescribable passion and love flowing between two who obviously were made for each other. You have found something only a few can have.
Enjoy your journey!
Beautiful thoughts, words, poetry...
Peace, love, and Light,

HA! There you are!

"perhaps following some
ubiquitous score of blood;" WOW!

You know, dear Alexandra, you are one of the rare and unique fruits on the Authors Den tree that I always enjoy ingesting. And I must admit also that there are nuggets of genius that flow through your veins regularly. Luckily I have a small collection in a velvet bag that I keep in my secret treehouse. Bless you friend! Superb!

Beyond beauty and two celestial identities could never have anything ordinary between them!
