 ~Winter's Ravenous Rapture~

Wafting sirens of love's pure
erotica from the burning
embers of your body sends
me into screaming with all my
consciousness of fulfilling
my mind and body's wants
and needs

Consuming your kisses
your sensual embrace
becoming so rhythmic under
the covers of your
midnight sinuous ambitions

Come tonight,
my love
filling us up with
gratification
melting my Winter's cloak of
trappings for ravenous rapture
with your Summer's
kaleidoscope of fireworks

~As imagined, forevermore it to be~

Sort of captures the moment, doesn't it? "Sinuous ambitions", quite well put. Lots of really descriptive phrases here, your poem really hits the spot.

What unadulterated passion! Something to really crawl under the covers for on a cold winters night!

I don't know why, but the first thing I thought of was ravens. Well, actually not ravens but the crows I used to see ravenously eating roadside kill in wintertime. I know, sometimes my thinking is quite perverse. ;-)

Vivian, What a vision of love...romantic and erotic. Your "Winter's Ravenous Rapture," is like a dream with fog as two lovers are nestled making love. This is your very best and I enjoyed immensely!!

Always,

Deborah

Yes indeed, the warmth of that ravenous rapture will melt the ice from heart and soul, Vivian. I was particularly enamored with the second verse.
