We’ve made a life for each other

Filled with hopes, dreams and fears’

Full of laughter as well as tears

Together, we share thoughts and dreams

United, we share the good and the strife

And we’ll be weathering the storms of life

And, there is this love

You are my shield from life’s stormy weather

I am your comfort, a soft quiet place to rest

For you, there is this love

We’ll create strength and hope

And hold firm as a two corded rope

Woven with threads from dreams

And braided tightly in unity

Because this love is blessed from above

There will be bad times, but also good ones too

There is, I believe, a universal balance

We will demand from life, just the chance

To stay in this love forever

And weather these storms of life together

Because, my dear, there is this love

Denise,

Such an exquisite piece from you, I loved it. And I agree with Edwin's sentiments. Having and giving love is one of the greatest feelings we will ever have.

Very much enjoyed, Stuart

A very nice poem you have written. My favorite line is when you said "You are my sheild from life's stormy weather".A relationship is like being on a team.People should treat each other like an MVP(Most Valuabler Person).Having love and getting love is one of the greatest feelings that a person can have.It is such an amazing feeling to have.take good care

The Heart's Way by Rebecca McKeehan

Love is universal and not limited to the most perfect among us. In this collection of romantic short stories and poetry, love comes to those who are decidedly imperfect, who possess very real human flaws, scars, and challenges. Awaiting us as we are.
