words spoken to soothe,
and the sheath begins to thaw, to melt
tiny droplets become a warm flow
joy begins to bubble forth
and laughter is once more
a ringing in the soul

A sign is seen to reveal
love has spread her seed once more
planted upon this fragile bud,
and has stirred the soil of hope
