For Carlie, and all the little flowers, plucked away so young!

For all the pretty flowers
that have been uprooted
and passed through life's door,
for all the sweet doves
who's cooing we shall hear no more

For all the sunshiney rays
God lent to us for some days
we stand above the places
we last saw your smiling faces

In memorium, we shed our teardrops,
in lament, we pray  for the day it stops
this ripping away of our precious jewels
by hate filled men, with hearts so cruel

From God's promise, we are able
to remember them and smile,
through GOD's love,
we know we'll miss them,
but only for a little while

For GOD is " making all things new!"
we have faith that His word is faithful and true !
we look forward to that wonderful day,
when " the former things will pass away"
so we know one day, we'll be with you!
