I wonder how we would react if we were told, " there will be no tomorrow",
Would we go pale with shock and throw up our hands in horror,
Would the news give us fear for things we’d left undone,
Or make us feel so wistful about the race we’d never run,
Only hours to spend in righting wrongs to help our conscious ease,
Hoping against desperate hope that those we’ve wronged, will listen to our pleas.
Will we with a conscience clear face the fate ahead,
Or wait for the approaching doom, with a heart like lead.
They say we live in desperate times and the end is drawing near,
Prophecies are coming true , with warnings loud and clear,
Now is the time to rid our life of all its pain and sorrow,
For you never, never really know, there may well be no tomorrow.
