Beautiful Lady,
You Give Me Dreams
By Handsum-Hart

I have no need for psychics,
Soothsayers or tellers of fortune
Because my lady
Is the ball of crystal
I roll across my mind
When I yearn to dream
About the beauty of my future

Her dream-giving eyes I peeped into
And saw the rare beauty
Of amazon stones
Rich with midnight allure
Virgin to the sun
Sleeping under a blanket of sand
In the Amazon River
Waiting to be awoken
And polished by the smoothness
Of my touch into perfect gemstones

Out far I waded
Into this Amazonian water
And saw 8,641
Purple-eyed African lilies
Floating towards the shores
Of her beauty
Wanting to adorn her hair
And give their fragrance
To the air that surrounds her

These thoughts of her beauty
Has stripped me of my self-control
Because how else
Can I explain this morning
When my vocabulary
Repeated punched
My dictionary in the mouth
With powerful words of persuasion
And persuaded it, to use only her name
When defining the word beautiful

Some punch they pack, you words of persuasion, dear HH!
Those legs remind me of Marlene Dietrich.
Well done, as always, Hart.

Dear Ron,

Without being hackneyed or glib you have managed to create a romantic masterpiece. At times I wondered if you were not balancing precariously close to the edge but you tie it up so beautifully in the last lines 'And persuaded it, to use only her name, When defined the word beautiful' I love a line that lingers...this does!

I love the ending of your your poem...
That's a real statement of love-if you cannot think of anything else than her name to express real feelings.
The next photo you post - let us see a little more of her okay?

Oh how I wish a man would look into my eyes and see amazon stones rich with midnight allure. Handsum do you want to take a look into my eyes? lol

This is super creative and beautiful, you sir have an
out-of-this-world way of describing a lady.

Best wishes
