How Shall I Describe You?

As the endless strip
of heaven’s homemade licorice
wrapped around my taste buds
feeding me the sweetest love candy
under the sky

As the misbehaving principal
keeping me after school
teaching me the abc’s
of her naughty lovemaking ways

As the mail lady
sending me on a dreamy vacation
with every kiss she stamps on my lips

As the speed racer
driving my romantic fantasies
at unlawful speeds

As the air freshener
spraying my world
with the refreshing fragrance
of late night summer romance

As the fearless jockey
riding my heart
to the finishing line
of holy matrimony
and into endless honeymoon

As the vision of cuteness
eternally etched on my eyeballs

As the flirtatious whisper
making my ears blush

As the voice
shouting hallelujah in my soul

As the definition
giving my life everlasting meaning

As the poetess
writing deathless poems
on the pages of my eternal soul

As the carrier pigeon
delivering messages
of unforgettable happiness
to my memory

As the thumb colored green
growing forget-me-not flowers
in my garden of life

As the ferryboat
carrying me over troubled waters
to the isle of perfect paradise

As the teardrops of life
splashing in my eyes

As the explosion of playfulness
making me glad to be your playmate

As the comedian
bringing laughter to my heart

My lady, I shall describe you
as my everything
and if need be
I will describe you in more ways
then eternity can hold!
