My relationship with one of my medications.
Clonazepam my lover Comfort in extremity You wrap tendrils round my heart And soothe me to tranquility Called “Klonopin” by some I fear your audacity A mighty milligram would stun To incapacity A tab of peace, a dose of calm Luscious in simplicity Protect me from your cousins’ wrongs In illnesses’ tenacity For you I have in great amounts In brave, unfearing plenty But as I shrink and fade again Clonazepam, do comfort me
