I built my life from a shell so strong, I didn't know I could be so wrong, It's a fragile case I must say, But I have my band-aids that make it stay.
From time to time I've had a crack, But I get a band-aid and piece it back, Only to find I've got cracks galore, So I buy more band-aids from the store.
Now I'm pieced back together again, I'll face the world tough to the end, My band-aids are holding up quite well, And in time I will mend my shell.
So, I'll take care not to fall, My band-aids will always be on call, My shell gets stronger everyday, And soon I'll be fine and on my way.
This speaks to every mother quite loudly. I think we all have our band-aides for trying times. This is beautifully written....

How true!
Thank God, you had insight in this little journey -and it IS a journey, isn't it?
The real effective band-aids are each other, right?

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
Beautiful and inspirational.
Loved it band-aids and all.
Best wishes always
