She's been blind since age three;
my neighbor, lives in apartment 3-C.
With minimal assistance she gets along;
seems like her acceptance, a sweet evensong.
It remains unknown, her past detail;
rest assured, plenty of wind in her sail.
She loves her seeing-eye dog named wicker;
you know darn well, they'll never bicker.
She dwells alone most of the time;
her lifestyle conducive to reason and rhyme.
She's only twenty-one and lives independently;
her other senses engaged, functioning completely.
I'm amazed when she runs the vacuum cleaner;
the dishwasher too, all with calm demeanor.
She even cooks dinner, offers me to partake;
why should we ever entertain any heartbreak?
She's been blind since age three;
quite active as a honeybee.
I think you will certainly agree;
our trials and tribulations, easy to oversee.
