ocean spray upon my face
dried in a glittering array
ornate design across my nose
as the sun, winks off salt crystals
changing colors as I move
bronze of my skin, glows below

place your face against mine
feel the living sensation of ocean
transferee my jewels to you
glow in the waning sunset with me
tilting our heads back, casting
rainbows of countless hues
each caught in our eyes, different
yet the same, as the shadows darken

yours skin now a rose color
reflecting light, a translucent mat
crystals, all one can see in the dark
as we wait for the moons glow
to again give life to our ocean
cyclorama with us as players
