I knew no ones name on that day
yet I knew everyone on that day
the day the earth shook
the day it rained fires and bodies
I sat glued to my TV set and wept
I saw faces washed in ash and blood
all humanity removed, replaced
by something called humankind
the day it rained fires and bodies
the day I sat glued to my TV set and wept
for each person, who died that day
for each soul who could not be saved
I knew of no ones name that day
I knew everyone's name that day
the day I sat glued to my TV set and wept
For each family or friend in that ungodly din
for each person comforted by someone before the end
I only know now of one name to call all on that day
I called them all AMERICANS !!!!!!!
THE DAY I SAT GLUED TO MY TV SET AND WEPT
