Blessed [is] the nation whose God [is] the LORD; [and] the people [whom] he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Romans 12:19
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, {Vengeance} [is] {mine}; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Psalm 33:12

This poem was excellent. A day that none of us here in America or around the world will every forget. You expressed the true meaning of Freedom in this poem. I would love to have a copy of this write signed by the Author himself.
William, this poem if quite simply great...well written, profound reflecting God's truth. By the way, thank you for your kind words regarding "Do You Not Know?" appearing on my A/D webpage. Keep up the good work for our awesome Lord! ~~Bonnie Q

I still cringe when I look at the skyline and don't see those towers. I'll never forget that day, although it sometimes fades to the dark recesses of my brain. You put it all goosebumpingly into this poem and bring it all back to the front burner. Thanks, Lisa

wonderful poem. im glad to have read such a wonderful poem in which i had received much feeling from it. thanks for writing it
The pen of a ready writer is something to behold, the pen of a ready writer says what needs to be told. With words that paint a picture yet makes the heart aware, there is still hope and that others really care. I thank God that amidst all the cries, there is still freedom that surely never dies. So thanks dear Sir, for sharing your feelings and your poem. God bless America your home sweet home.
"Freedom just might cost your life, but freedom never dies!" That's profound. A powerful write, with great rhyme & meter. This poem was written for such a time as this. Write on!
