I am a United States Army Veteran serving with the 1st Infantry Division "The Big Red One" in Fort Riley Kansas during the Vietnam War and also part of REFORGER 3 in Germany.
I am a RETIRED Law Enforcement Professional serving from July 1, 1976 - March 31, 2018 where I served as a Street Cop, Prison Cop, School Cop and it has truly been an HONOR to serve my God, my Family, my community and my Country in this capacity.
I now enjoy spending time with family, writing and promoting my inspirational poems and sharing my musical talents as an Elvis Tribute Artist at class reunions, proms, parties, nursing homes and wherever someone wants to just remember Elvis.
Over the years I have learned through scripture that all good gifts come from God. I understand that my poetic talent or any talent I may have is not given so I can be blessed, but to be a blessing to others, so I use my talents to show God that I appreciate the talents God has given me, so if you have a talent you are hiding I would encourage you to share it, for the love of your faith, family and friends.
I also hope my poetry will ignite a desire in you to seek out a personal relationship with God almighty through His Son Jesus Christ.
If you already have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, then I pray my poetry will encourage you to continue to shine the light of Jesus and begin to share your God given talents to bless others.

I was blessed and honored to be part of the Utah Olympic Public Safety Command during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. I was assigned to Park City Main Street and had the opportunity to work with some of the best public servants in the USA and I will always remember their faith, love for family and love for country.
I am enjoying retirement writing poetry and doing my Elvis Tribute via singing grams, weddings, parties, dances and proms etc...
I also sing the National Anthem at sporting events and different ceremonies to honor America.

This RETIRED STREET COP, PRISON COP, SCHOOL COP, can say that DREAMS DO COME TRUE and my faith, my family and my friends have been the inspiration. (Make sure you check out "Beyond A Christmas Day", especially if you are a public servant that I have crossed paths during my 42 years in Law Enforcement, because you were my inspiration.)
I have been writing award winning poems since elementary school and those of you who have known me for years have probably been a recipient. Well 30 years ago I approached a friend (Mark Johnson) and asked him if he could draw me a cartoon heart and he did, but I never did anything with it. Then about a year ago I decided to use the concept of that heart, with help from Diana L Dutra and her artistic talents, she drew me some concept hearts. Why the heart? I believe the heart is where the foundation of love begins, the heart is universal and with that thought, I am taking my hearts, my poems and starting my own greeting card company.
