From April 1995 to June 1996 I attempted to gain employment as a police officer, but God allowed every door to be shut. I was told off record that one department turned me down because I was a Christian, another department said my previous employer wanted to remain anonymous, but said, "I was the worst." I tried selling houses with a little success and I tried professional bowling with no financial success. I had friends tell me to not be so open about my faith and there were times that I almost started to take their advice, but Gods Word prevailed; Matthew 10:33-34; " |
