there is a doctor who can heal without a laying on of hands
one who will adminster not only your body but you soul
taking all pain of life on to his self, washing you free
all one needs do is feel bold enough to let the power move
remove the mortal coils of man open your eyes and dare to dream
I have heard old and young folk moan  deep, low and mournful
praying in the words of a hymn,  a cappella solemn beseeching
words need not be said to express our earthly hungers or thirst
storms rage the earth shakes and neither man nor beast comes to harm
if a bird can fly and a tree sleep in winter, if rain can fall in a desert
when the earth spins and seasons blend, why cant you see
do you not think we can be heard when in distressing perils
all it takes is knowing there is something, someone, somewhere
greater then self, the rest will come by walking in grace and faith
