Covered bridge of the arctic north dripping long limpid icicles spears lamplight's hazy glow lights the way a warm welcome, bids all enter here the echo of hoof beats off the beam walls and the jingle of bells on leather harness all blend with the sound of the sleds swish my heart races at the hollow thumping knowing there is only air and ice flow below yet this old bridge does hold me dear for at least this one more trip across I turn looking back over my shoulder as the bridge fades in distance view much to my glad hearts amazement this bridge of hollow countenance appears to posses a parting smile

A homonymless man writes shows what it's like to look up the laid he skirts when you’re lying prone(d) to the sidewalk, beer / joint / needle dangling from your hand /lips / arm.
