There are so many promises I long to whisper in your ear,

But I wake up, and my heart’s wish is that you were here.

I just want to go to sleep again so that you will reappear

You are lying next to me, if I open my eyes you’ll disappear.

I yearn to kiss your cheek and to nibble gently on your ear

And to smell your soft hair; to lose myself in your eyes,

I envision you smiling back at me. Its all a dream I realize

I don’t want to wake up from this dream but I have to arise
