As I grow older I grow more pensive with each passing day. My dreams are filled with those who have gone on before. With this poem I give voice to my plans so that all shall know my desires since I leave behind no progeny.
Bury me not on the lonely prairie,
Nor within green shaded grassy knolls,
Inter me not on majestic mountain top,
Nor entomb me in peaceful sylvan glade,
From ashes to ashes,
From dust to dust,
Spread my ashes on the four winds,
That I might travel once again,
To those exotic lands where I once dwelt,
That a part of me shall reside there forever,
Read my words aloud and send them on,
That they too may travel on the winds.
