Secret thoughts I hold tight My mind reveals nothing but fear I live in the dark wonders of midnight I walk alone on the misty shore ~~ My mind wanders To another time I wonder if my life was real Or just a dream in time ~~ My heart feels sadness One with one always Icy waters touch me and I cry screaming out into the vastness of nothing ~~ What will tomorrow bring? I have lost my faith Frosted tears roll down my cheek I grow so insecure ~~ Confusion lives within my soul My mind is dead among the living A journey into the city of doom Never ending searching on ~~ I cry out in vain To a God who has no ears Listen to my anger Listen to my pleas. ~*~ Floreann Cawley & Maryfrances Perez
