Evening breezes Halloween Trick or Treaters can be seen Moon is glowing as its showing Spooky figures in the street Witches run through leaves that swirl Cinderella little girl Pumpkins lit with scary faces Promises of something sweet Frankenstein with Igor roam Slowly limp from home to home Boy with bag on head approaches Dragging big shoes on his feet Kids go home to check their haul Go to sleep........but in the hall Shadow moves the child is sleeping Halloween is made complete

BOO'S NIGHT CAN BE FUN...BUT SO MANY THINGS NOW HAVE CHANGED AND COME UNDONE. WHEN I WAS A KID(L-O-N-G TIME AGO)WE REALLY DRESSED UP IN OUR PARENTS CLOTHES AND PUT ON THEIR MAKEUP AND WE DIDN'T WORRY ABOUT TAINTED CANDY AND THE LIKES...OH WELL IT'S NOT LIKE THIS IS THE 'ONLY' THING THAT HAS CHANGED. GREAT LAYOUT, COMPLETELY; PHRASES, RHYME, RHYTHM AND IMAGERY - ALL DONE WELL. THANKS FOR SHARING, JANE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

This was a real "treat" to read. What I find amazing, is how many of those trick or treating are adults looking for a sweet haul. Leave it for the kids to do and then just raid their haul. And sadly, I believe door to door trick or treating ought to be a thing of the past. There are just to many weirdos out there that you can't trust.

Ahhh . . . I so love that the "Shadow moves the child is sleeping" A perfect ending to this unholy Halloween tale . . . Gotta love it.
