Pondering/
Reflecting on the still sublime/
what's hidden there provokes my mind/
and stirs the lava in my veins/
until my soul bursts into flames/
Pondering/
The sound of my heart's earnest cry/
desires answers in the night/
when I find sleep's elusive ride/
& dreams awake subconscious mind/
Pondering/
The place where I now find myself/
Exploring caverns darkest hull/
& up into the mountain's peak/
To find were solace beckons me/
Pondering/
In silence I still hear my voice/
& write the words I know I must/
so passion's flow on canvas spills/
an irridescant waterfall/
Pondering/
the scripted words regurgitate/
spew poison gas into the air/
take heed the masses comfort zone/
& share your words accordingly/
Pondering/
The metaphoric cinema/
Releasing me from accolades/
I will not sell my my soul for gain/
The poet's hands at once unchained.....
