Remember is a poem for everyone!

Remember

When you wake up to morning’s sun
And fresh brewed coffee in your mug
Be thankful that the sun came through
To give a little warmth to you

While you complain of so much pain
From head to toe it’s all the same
Each and every day you thrive
Your pain is proof your still alive

While warming up your hands and feet
And walking to and fro
Remember those who have no feet
No hands to touch no place to go

When looking at your little child
Or grandchild if you may
Remember those with barren wombs
Who cry for children every day

While watching nature God’s own work
With your eyes that see your ears that hear
Remember those that cannot see
All that they hold so dear

When sleeping in your cozy bed
And dreaming all your dreams
Remember those in alley’s dark
Or sleeping souls in cold dark parks

While sitting at your table fair
Upon Thanksgiving Day
Remember those still starving
Or those who’ve lost their way

While speaking to your brothers
Or sisters if you may
Please send a prayer to those at war
For their last could be today

While holding close your Mother
Your husband and all others
Remember those who’ve all gone home
You’re blessed because you still have some

Each day when life’s a struggle
And time is not your friend
Remember your creator
He’s with you till the end
