Oh me of little faith I cry
while wandering in my sea of oppression
this life on earth seems sometimes bitter
while strife and pain become an obsession
Oh me a Christian yet I'm troubled
With worries and heartache deep within
My soul cries out to you My Lord
I feel so alone don't know where to begin
Take from me Lord the things I stress
give to me water that is fresh
wrap in your arms my weary soul
hold me still that I may know
It is you who holds the weary heart
And soothes the tears through all the years
And comforts when know one else can
Your always there to hold my hand
Oh God I pray for My Mother's life
For all her sickness and her strife
I know I ask alot from you
But to lose her now would make be blue
I pray to you to also keep
Your guiding light for all lost sheep
Protect them from the fire of Hell
Show them the way,teach them well
If I seem selfish cast away
the things I should not have
Open my eyes and heart Dear God
That I may love and not be sad
Let me give of what I have
To those with empty arms
Let me care for those who hurt
And love them from now on
Let me not judge another soul
but leave that up to you
For I am only me you see
And You are the God of truth

I love this, what a wonderful prayer you have written here. I am reading an excellent book right now on Job by Charles Swindoll, and for someone who is suffering, it really helps to read his story. I will keep you in my prayers, and your mother as well. Thank you for sharing this moving prayer.
