A dream or the real thing
Was it you that filled my dreams And was gone at break of day? You said that you would love me, Though I never had my say. Your kisses overwhelmed me, As you held me in your arms. I was intoxicated By all your loving charms. Dawn, you took my love away, Before my feelings could speak. Now I’m left with saddened heart, Your lipstick on my cheek.
