put your hand in mine,
and together we will find
[find] the man who sells
other people's wasted time
we'll tack those daytime hours
onto mountain hikes
lined with wildflowers
we'll add to the late afternoon
[and] enjoy a longer sunset
before the rising moon
and in the evenings as we make love
we'll increase the amount of time
for us to lose track of
oh, put your hand in mine,
and together we will find
[find] the man who sells
other people's wasted time
