"CHANGE ME, CHANGE YOU, CHANGE US"

(Written with my hope that the world may someday become a place where
peace, love, and kindness may live together side by side)

 
One can change the collective mind,
 
By simply intending to be kind.
 
An act so modest, yet immense,
 
Can alter mankind’s consequence.
 
 
We’re joined together by delicate threads,
 
Connecting our hearts as well as our heads.
 
A fine opus of vibrant cords,
 
Where humanity’s actions are nobly stored.
 
 
Kindness echoes the sounds of peace,
 
And softens the tone to downy fleece.
 
Mankind will know when that melody arrives,
 
For love will be echoed in everyone’s lives.
